Clothing And Props
It is best to keep clothing simple. Black or white shirts with khaki pants or jeans look nice. Stick with solid colors rather than distracting prints and designs.
We want the focus to be on YOU ...not what you are wearing. Dark colors tend to have a slimming effect. Vertical stripes also make you look thinner when compared to horizontal stripes. Sleeveless shirts tend to make you look heavier and draw attention away from your face. Opt for long sleeves if possible. Don't worry about getting overly dressed up unless that is particularly what you are looking for. Bare skin or bare feet look great and very natural looking. This works especially well for maternity and infant shots. Most importantly ...we want you to feel comfortable and relaxed.
We have a variety of backdrops and props. We encourage you to bring props that are meaningful to you to add to the picture. This can be anything from a favorite toy, family heirloom, special collection, favorite hobby, basically anything that has meaning to you.

Mandy and I both have a deep passion for photography which has lead us to develop our own style ... devoted to capturing the moment ... the inner spirit of who we are photographing. Our commitment is to provide the client with what THEY want, not what a photographer wants. The client always comes first with us and we are open to your ideas. We sincerely want to show how families interact, love and laugh ... highlighting your favorite qualities and intimacy rather than stiff or forced poses! We truly believe it is a privilege to document what is most precious to you! We do our sessions mostly in our studio, however we are flexible and can arrange for on location sessions as well.
YES ... we do pets too!
Pets are part of our families too and we love including them in all we do. Many photographers don't want to deal with them ...but we welcome them with open arms. Check our information page for upcoming special events.
Giving Back
We are working to become members of a charitable foundation aimed to offer photography sessions at no charge to families in need with children in critical care. Watch here for updates.

We are looking for the right person to join our team as a SALES AND MARKETING ASSOCIATE. This position will start off as part-time afternoons/evenings a couple nights a week and could become full-time.
We are also looking for someone to join us as a PHOTOGRAPHER. Hours will vary. This person will help us with school, sport and even photography as well as studio sessions. We want someone who doesn't just want to be an 'employee', but take a little ownership as well. If interested please submit a portfolio of your work and resume as well as the application below.

Bunny Portraits
March 2nd and 3rd by appointment
Join us for the ever popular Bunny Portait sessions. This is an event the kids love and talk about for weeks after the session. Our own little one continues to ask us when the bunnies are coming back. For just $49 +tax, get your child's photos taken with a live bunny (we do have artificial ones and artificial baby chicks for those afraid of the real ones). This price also includes a minimum of 4 proofs and 8 wallets of your favorite pose. Call to reserve your spot as soon as possible as only a limited number of appointments are available and this event seems to fill up rather quickly.

This is a great opportunity for families and Class of 2013 high school juniors to tour the studio, ask questions and enter for HUNDREDS of dollars in raffle prizes.
